About me
Hi I'm Sienna and I really like to cook and bake, so I figured that was enough to qualify me to create this blog.

I hate to burst this bubble, but I don't have any training in cooking or baking, but I really love to do those things. I've always used food as my creative outlet and seen it as a fun and relaxing activity. It was my respite in graduate school, and my appreciation for cooking really took root there. While we're on the subject, the only other reprieve I had in graduate school was my cat, Chloe, who kept me sane by giving me and my roommates lots of affection.
You might be thinking I'm a crazy cat lady, and while I resent the stereotype, you're 100% correct. I just love my little fur baby, okay? She's been very helpful to me in the kitchen and she has an excellent palate.

Here's Chloe's official food rating scale:
When I adopted Chloe from the local shelter, they told me she had an extensive background in cooking and baking. I think her former owner was a Michelin star chef because she really knows her stuff. She could put Remy from Ratatouille to shame. Chloe is a tough critic and she has a very refined system for rating the food: one sniff is good, two sniffs is very good and a lick is excellent.

It's as simple as this; Chloe rates the food, I just write about it.
